Caramel Apple Coffee Cake

 

 

 

This Caramel Apple Coffee Cake is the ultimate taste of fall! Loaded with fresh apples and topped with gooey caramel, this is one breakfast treat your family will ask for again and again!

Ingredients

Coffee Cake

·         2 c. all purpose flour

·         2 1/2 tsp. baking powder

·         1/4 c. butter, softened

·         1/2 c. brown sugar

·         1/2 c. sour cream

·         1/4 c. caramel topping

·         1/4 c. milk

·         1 egg

·         1 tsp. vanilla

·         2 c. peeled, chopped apples

Crumb Topping

·         1 c. brown sugar

·         2/3 c. flour

·         6 Tbsp. softened butter

·         *caramel topping for drizzling

 

Instructions

1.   In a medium bowl, combine 2 c. flour and baking powder. Set aside.

2.   In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar.

3.   Blend in sour cream, caramel topping, and milk and mix until smooth. Stir in egg and vanilla.
