SOY SAUCE AND BROWN SUGAR SALMON MARINADE





Salmon fillets are marinated in a mixture of sweet soy sauce, then grilled to perfection in this easy, restaurant-quality seafood dinner.

INGREDIENTS

  • ⅓ cup of water
  • salt to taste
  • 1½ pounds salmon fillets
  • ⅓ cup of soy sauce
  • ¼ cup of vegetable oil
  • garlic powder to taste
  • lemon pepper to taste
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar

Instructions

First, season the salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt.

Then, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until the sugar has dissolved. Place fish in a large resealable plastic bag, pour soy sauce mixture over the fish, seal, and turn to coat. Marinate for at least 2 hours.

Preheat the grill to medium heat.

Lightly oil the grill grid. Place the salmon on the preheated grill and discard the marinade. Cook salmon 6 to 8 minutes per side or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Wrap in aluminum foil and bake at 425 ° for approx. 15 minutes.
