CHEESY BEEF GOULASH
I call this
homemade beefaroni. Sometimes I use tomato soup instead of dice. Nice and
creamy
INGREDIENTS
- 3 c water
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 TB soy sauce
- 2 cans diced tomatoes 15 oz cans
- 2 cans tomato sauce 15 oz cans
- 1 c shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 TB Italian seasoning
- 2 c elbow macaroni uncooked
- 3 tsp minced garlic
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 TB seasoned salt
INSTRUCTIONS
First, Sauté
the ground beef in a frying pan over medium-high heat until it is cooked.
Drain. Add the garlic and sauté for about 5 minutes. Add water, tomato sauce,
diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, soy sauce and seasoned salt. Mix
well. Cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
Then, Add
the macaroni to the uncooked elbow in the pan, stir well, put the lid back on
and let it simmer for about 30 minutes. Turn off the heat, remove the bay
leaves and add 1 cup cheddar cheese just before serving. Happy Cooking TimeJ
