ASIAN GARLIC TOFU
Crispy Asian Garlic Tofu with many salty, sweet and spicy flavors. Serve with broccoli and rice for a delicious vegetarian meal.
1 packet of super hard tofu
1/4 cup duck sauce
2 tablespoons soy
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
green onions for garnish
rice to serve
1.Remove the tofu from the packaging. Place about 4 paper towels on a plate. Place the tofu on a plate and canopy with more paper towels. Place a forged iron pan or something heavy on top. Let it rest for half-hour .
2.In a medium bowl, combine the duck sauce , soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic and red chili flakes.
3.Cut the tofu into small pieces. Place during a bowl with sauce and stir until coat. Let it rest for half-hour .
4.Heat the vegetable oil during a medium forged iron skillet over medium-high heat. After it's 5.really hot, add tofu. Once grasped well at rock bottom , turn it over. Continue cooking until the broth is charred.
6.Drizzle with vegetable oil and take away from heat.
7.Sprinkle with chives and serve with rice.
