Bacon Wrapped Kielbasa with Brown Sugar Glaze
A bite of Kielbasa wrapped in bacon with sugar icing are going to be the star of your Christmas brunch. they seem to be a little sweet, slightly salty than bacon, and really interesting.
1 lb kielbasa (make sure it's gluten free)
10 slices of bacon
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons of crushed mustard rock
3 tablespoons of wine vinegar
1 tablespoon black pepper *
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and canopy with a cooking / cooling rack. Spray the grill with nonstick spray.
2.Cut the kielbasa within the middle, lengthwise. Slice each half into 1-inch pieces, you ought to have about 30 sheets of kielbasa. Cut each slice of bacon into thirds. Wrap a bit of bacon around each section of the kielbasa and secure it with a toothpick. Set aside.
3.In a small saucepan, combine sugar , vinegar, mustard and pepper. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves. Keep warm at low temperatures.
4.Grease the kielbasa with icing and place on a baking sheet / wire rack. Bake for 40 minutes and brush every quarter-hour . Serve immediately.
