BROCCOLI WITH GARLIC SAUCE








Broccoli on the go with garlic sauce is a great side dish to have with any meal. Served with white or brown rice, it's flavorful and guilt-free, and it's easier than you think to mimic that restaurant flavor!

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 - 9 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • unsalted white rice, for serving
  • 1/3 cup minced fresh garlic
  • 1 batch of homemade stir fry sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

First, in a large skillet, add 2 tablespoons of sesame oil and heat over medium heat

Then, add the minced garlic and cook, 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often, until the garlic begins to brown

Add the broccoli florets and sautéed sauce to the pan and cook an additional 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often, until the broccoli is the desired texture (I prefer mine with a bit of crunch, so about 10 minutes were perfect)

Serve over unsalted white rice.
