Meatballs and Gravy


The tender meatballs are covered in brown sauce with onions and served on top of creamy mashed potatoes. it's the foremost convenient, able to use and freezer-safe food!

ingredients
meatball
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 ½ pound. hamburger, 85% lean
½ yellow onion, finely diced
¼ cup of breadcrumbs, plain or Italian
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 large egg
1 tablespoon spaghetti sauce
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon Worcester sauce
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons of fresh parsley, roughly chopped
sauce
1 medium onion, dig ½ inch chains
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 and a half teaspoons Worcestershire soy
2-3 drops of Kitchen Bouquet seasoning and browning, optional
1/4 cup cold water + 3 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

1. Gently mix all the meatball ingredients during a large bowl until well blended, don't stir an excessive amount of or the meat will turn hard.
2.Heat vegetable oil during a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Chocolate 5 to six meatballs at a time for about 2 minutes per side. Remove and put aside on a plate. Repeat for all meatballs.
Add the oil/juice from the meatball plate to the skillet and melt a tablespoon of butter. Add the onion slices and let it soften and even caramelize a touch, about quarter-hour. Stir frequently.
Prepare the sauce
1. Add chicken broth, beef broth, shallot powder, garlic powder, and Worcester sauce to the pan. Stir to combine.
2. Use a silicone spatula to put the chocolate chunks at rock bottom of the pan into the sauce. If you would like a darker color, add 2-3 drops of Kitchen Bouquet Browning and Seasoning Sauce.
Combine cold water and cornstarch during a small Tupperware lid. Shake to mix.
3. Bring the sauce to a boil. Stir within the cornstarch mixture. Lower to medium-low. Keep beating it to form sure it comes together well.
Add meatball
1. Return the meatballs to the pan and warmth for about 10 minutes in order that the meatballs are finished cooking.
2. Garnish with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes.
