EASY GRAHAM CRACKER TOFFEE BARK
This 7-Ingredient Caramel Graham Cracker is quick and easy to make, and don't hesitate to sprinkle it with the good-sounding topping!
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 package (14.4 ounces) graham crackers
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
First, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Then, spread the graham crackers in an even layer over the prepared baking sheet, covering the entire sheet.
In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, vanilla sugar and salt over medium heat. Cook, whisking constantly, until the butter has melted and the mixture is an almond brown color, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Immediately spread hot caramel mixture evenly over graham crackers. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. After 1 to 2 minutes, spread the chocolate chips in an even layer until smooth. Sprinkle with pecans.
Let cool completely, about 2 hours. Break into pieces. Happy Cooking Time.
