LEMON LIME JELLO SALAD
Lemon Lime Jello Salad is a retro lime jello salad that my husband's grandmother made for many holiday meals. To continue with the tradition, I do this every Thanksgiving.
- 2 cups of hot water
- 3 oz Lime JELLO
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 mug of cottage cheese
- lemon and lime zest for garnish optional
- 3 oz lemon JELLO
- 0.25 oz unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup of crushed pineapple not completely drained
First, lightly spray a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Then, dissolve the two cans of JELLO and unflavored gelatin in hot water in a baking dish.
Stir in sweetened condensed milk, pineapple, cottage cheese, and mayonnaise until well combined.
Refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours.
Sprinkle with lemon and lime zest if desired.
Cut into squares and serve cold.
