New England Apple Cider Cake

For the cake
1 cup apple cider
2 cups Granny Smith apples (3 large apples or 4 small apples)
1 whole lemon
¼ cup soft butter (4 tbsp or half stick)
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 and a half teaspoons of leaven
½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
¼ teaspoon of salt
½ cup cream
Enough vegetable fat to grease a 9 × 9 inch baking sheet
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons sugar
For the icing
1 cup apple cider
1 cup powdered sugar
1 to 2 tablespoons cream or milk
Vanilla frozen dessert , optional for serving
1.Put the primary glass of apple cider on the stove and convey to a boil and convey to a boil until only 1/4 cup is left. Chill.

9.In a small bowl or mug, mix sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle on top of the cake and bake for 50 to hour or until a toothpick inserted within the center comes out clean.
10.While the cake is baking, make a frosting.
11.Place the second cup of apple cider on the stove as before, reducing it to 2 tablespoons. take care to not evaporate too far.
12.Put powdered sugar during a small bowl and add the reduced cider with a tablespoon of milk or cream and blend . Add the last tablespoon of milk or cream a touch at a time until the 13.specified consistency is achieved. It should be thick but runny enough to hide the ends of the spoon.
14.When the cake comes out of the oven, cool to temperature and dig nine squares.
15.Pour the icing over each serving, let it run down the edges and serve.
16.Serve with vanilla frozen dessert if desired.
