Homemade baked egg custard

The best egg custard pie I have ever made and tasted. You should check this out. Inexpensive and easy to make.


  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 ounces of Natvia
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk


First, preheat your oven to 150C / 300F. Grease an 8-inch deep pie dish and set aside.

Then, place eggs and sweetener in a large bowl and whisk together for 5 minutes, until pale in color.

Add the vanilla and 1/2 cup of cream. Whisk well.

Add the rest of the cream and the almond milk and whisk until the ingredients are well combined.

Pour into your prepared pie dish and sprinkle with nutmeg.

Place the pie dish in a large roasting dish and make a double boiler, adding enough hot water to rise halfway up the pie dish.

Place in the oven and cook, 1 hour 15 minutes, until it is stirred in the center.

Let cool 15 minutes before serving.

Serve hot or cold, on its own or add a little Keto Whipped Cream.
