SOYA SAUCE CHICKEN
If you love Hainan Chicken Rice, you MUST try this equally delicious and easy to prepare Cantonese Braised Soy Chicken. Only 20 minutes of active time to do!
- Instant pressure cooker
- 4 slices of ginger
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onion sticks
- 1 1/2 pound Party Chicken Wings
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
First, in a bowl, add 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup water, 2 tbsp dark soy sauce and 3 tbsp brown sugar. Then mix them well.
Then, plug in the Instant Pot and press the Sauté button. Then add 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil, 4 slices of ginger and 6 cloves of garlic. Stir a little.
Then add the washed chicken wings to the pan
Stir the sauce mixture well and add it to the pot and mix the chicken a little. Then close the lid, vent and press the manual button to set the time for 5 minutes at high pressure. Then, natural release.
In the meantime, cut the green onion into small strips
Use a skimmer to remove excess fat from the sauce.
Add the green onion and mix them. Happy Cooking Time.
