Bacon and Cheese Strata
The bacon and cheese streak is that the perfect breakfast dish for the gang . Throw it all away and put it within the fridge able to bake subsequent morning with compliments from your guests for being such smart hosts that breakfast is prepared without a cleanup.
350 g (12 ounces) of striped bacon, diced - leaving 2 slices for the highest
6 large eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup chives, thinly sliced
2 cups grated cheddar - leaving 1/3 cup for the highest

freshly ground black pepper to taste
7 cups of thick bread (not soft sandwiches) should be 2-3 days old
