GRAND MARNIER CRANBERRY SAUCE
Enhance your homemade cranberry sauce with a hint of Grand Marnier! Grand Marnier Cranberry Sauce is a wonderfully flavorful and well-balanced sauce that will go perfectly with your holiday meals.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1.5 cups of cane sugar
- 2 bags of cranberries, fresh or frozen (12 oz each)
- 4 tablespoons of Grand Marnier or Cognac
- 1 tablespoon of fresh orange zest
Instructions
First, in a medium pot, combine the cranberries, sugar and orange juice.
Then, bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer. Cook, stirring often, until syrupy, about 10 minutes.
Add 4 tablespoons of Grand Mariner and the orange zest. Continue to cook over low heat for 10 more minutes.
Remove from the heat and serve with a freshly grated orange zest.
