ORANGE BOURBON CRANBERRY SAUCE







This bourbon, brown sugar, and orange cranberry sauce is so delicious you'll just want to grab a spoon and dive in!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 tsp. water
  • 1 1/3 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2/3 c. White sugar
  • 2 packages (12 oz.) Cranberries
  • zest of one orange, plus extra for garnish
  • 3/4 tsp. freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 to 3 tablespoons bourbon (to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS

First, place all the ingredients in a medium saucepan and cook over medium-high heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until most of the liquid has reduced, stirring occasionally. Once most of the cranberries have burst, remove from heat and let stand for at least 15 minutes.

Then, serve garnished with additional orange zest. Or cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week. (Simply reheat the cranberries later to serve.). Happy Cooking Time.
