Sweet potato Smoothie Recipe

Healthy sweet potato smoothie recipe made with delicious, healthy ingredients.


  • 2 big dates
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
  • 1/2 cup mashed cooked sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup of dairy free milk You can use regular milk if you don't care about it being vegan / dairy free
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice


  • 1 tablespoon of pomegranates
  • 1 teaspoon of toasted coconut flakes


First, combine sweet potatoes, milk, vanilla, dates, hemp seeds, almond butter and pumpkin pie spice in a blender and blend until smooth.

Then, at this point you can try the smoothie to check if the sweetness is good, if not add another date and mix again. Now you can either add about 1/2 cup of ice cubes to make the smoothie cooler and a bit thicker or you can omit this step. Keep in mind that the more ice you add, the less the flavor of the smoothie.

Serve and enjoy!


It's a pretty thick smoothie even without added ice cubes. If you don't like it that thick, add a little more milk!
