Chicken Stuffing Casserole
Layers of seasoned chicken, creamy soup and stuffing come together in this delicious chicken and stuffing! This recipe has been a family favorite for years.
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1 tin of cream of chicken
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 1.5 cups of chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups cooked and grated chicken
- 1 can of stuffing mix
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup of steamed broccoli florets
First, preheat the oven to 400 degrees
Then, in a bowl, combine the stuffing mix, grated cooked chicken, diced onion, grated carrot and steamed broccoli. Place everything in a greased baking dish.
In another bowl, combine the chicken broth and soup and pour over the ingredients in the baking dish.
Cover with foil and cook for 30 minutes. After cooking, gently mix the contents and garnish with grated cheese. Cook for another 15 minutes, uncovered this time. If you like crispy cheese, grill it for 2 minutes as well. Happy Cooking Time.
