CHOCOLATE CHERRY CHIA PUDDING


 



CHOCOLATE CHERRY CHIA PUDDING







This chocolate, cherry and chia pudding is delicious but healthy. Made with almond milk and cocoa powder.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen cherries; no need to thaw
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 6 1/2 tsp. Chia seeds
  • 5 tablespoons of honey or rice or agave malt syrup
  • topping: shaved dark chocolate whipped 2 cherries, optional, or whipped cream

Instructions

First, in a bowl, combine 1 cup of milk, 3 1/2 tablespoons of chia seeds, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 2 tablespoons of rice syrup.

Then, in another bowl, combine 1 cup of milk, 3 tablespoons of chia seeds, 1/2 cup of cherries and 3 tablespoons of rice syrup.

Let your two mixes sit on your counter for about 1 hour (or overnight in the fridge).

Take two serving glasses. Put half of the chocolate pudding in each glass. Top with half the cherry pudding.

OPTIONAL: Garnish with whipped topping (or whipped cream), dark chocolate shavings and a cherry on top. Happy Cooking Time.
