 Aloo Matar Gobi Recipe

Aloo Matar Gobi may be a simple and friendly sabzi made with fresh peas, cauliflower and potatoes. are often served with Phulka and Parathas


3 tablespoons mustard oil

▢1 teaspoon cumin seeds

▢½ teaspoon of Hing

▢2 teaspoon ginger (finely chopped)

▢2 teaspoon green chilies (finely chopped)

▢½ cup onion (finely chopped)

▢1 cup Potatoes / Aloo (peeled and diced)

▢½ cup peas / matar (softened)

▢2 cup cauliflower / gobhi (cut into small pieces)

▢1 teaspoon ground coriander

▢1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

▢2 teaspoon red flavorer

▢½ teaspoon of Salt masala powder

▢Salt to taste

▢2 tablespoons of juice

▢2 c. 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro (chopped)


1.Heat oil during a skillet.

2.Once the oil is hot, add the cumin seeds and therefore the hinges and let it splash for a couple of seconds.

3.Add ginger and sweet pepper and fry for a couple of seconds.

4.Add the onions and saute until golden brown.

5.Now add the potatoes, peas, cauliflower, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red flavorer , garam masala and salt and canopy and cook until done.

6.Splash slightly during cooking if necessary.

7.Add juice and coriander leaves and blend well.

8.Serve hot with parathas or bread.
