Easy Spicy Miso Noodles


 Easy Spicy Miso Noodles



These spicy miso noodles are coated with a thick and fragrant miso sauce. They pack a spicy begin their homemade garlic condiment and if you would like more seasoning you'll always add more chili sauce!


INGREDIENTS

sauce

1 tablespoon white miso paste

1 tablespoon plain spread or Chinese sesame paste

1 tablespoon roasted vegetable oil

1/2 tablespoon of garlic condiment , suits the specified seasoning (see notes for sub) homemade recipe here

1/2 tablespoon soy

1 teaspoon optional black soy for coloring

1/2 tsp. syrup or other sweetener

1/2 tablespoon of rice vinegar or distilled white vinegar

1 teaspoon chopped garlic

1 onion , chopped

Noodles

115 grams of dry wheat noodles or dry udon noodles (2 packs)

Serve

Thinly sliced cucumber

Fresh cilantro

Choice of shiitake fry

Another vegetable of choice, you'll boil some green vegetables like bok choy, spinach, broccoli, etc.

1 to 2 tablespoons water noodles to thin (if necessary)


INSTRUCTIONS

1.In a large bowl, combine all sauce ingredients until smooth and well blended.you'll also add more vinegar, soy sauce, or chili aioli later after the noodles are combined.

2.Heat alittle saucepan over high heat. After boiling, add the dry noodles. Bake consistent with package directions or until tender or hard . If you boil some vegetables, you'll cook them before the noodles and set them aside.

3.Remove the noodles from the water and immediately transfer them to an outsized bowl crammed with sauce. Stir the noodles with the sauce until they're evenly coated.

4.Taste the noodles and be happy to season with more vinegar, soy sauce, or aioli , if you wish .

Serve

5.Add cucumber, coriander and sauteed mushrooms (if using) and other vegetables (if using).

6.Mix it all up and enjoy! If you would like to loosen the noodles a touch , you'll add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water from the skillet to thin out the soup.
