 Lemon Cream Cheese Puff Pastry

This lemon cheese braid is prepared in but 30 minutes! Puff pastry crammed with lemon cheese and cheese to make a sweet yet tangy dessert that everybody will love!


13 oz (375 g) puff pastry pan able to roll

1/2 cup (170 g) lemon cheese

5 ounces (140 g) of whole cheese

3 tablespoons icing / granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 tablespoon cornstarch / cornstarch

1 medium egg,


1.Preheat oven to 200 ° C / 400 ° F and line an outsized baking sheet with parchment paper / silicone / Silpat mat.

2.Place the puff pastry sheet on the baking sheet that you simply prepared. Mark the cake sheet in thirds. the middle is for your filling, so leave this out.

3.On the outer two thirds of your dough, cut a diagonal corner at the highest of the sheet to form the corners of your braid.

5.When you get to the last cut, there'll be alittle triangle of dough on the left between the middle and where you narrow your slice, cut it, and throw it away.

6.Pour the lemon cheese within the middle of the mixture, then grease the rear of the spoon carefully in order that it doesn't re-evaluate the sides and out of the center third!

7.Place the cheese , sugar, vanilla and cornstarch during a small bowl and beat until well combined and smooth. Pour this mixture within the center, on the lemon cheese and spread it gently. 8.Take a slice from the left and fold it over the lemon filling, then repeat with the proper side. Repeat until you've got a neat braid.

9.There will be alittle piece of dough on the fold (center) end and on top of the lemon cheese to assist stop the leak!

10.Brush with lightly beaten egg, then bake for 17 to 22 minutes, until fluffy, golden and therefore the topping is bubbly.

11.Let it cool for half-hour before chopping it into 1 inch pieces and gobbling it up!
