CARROT AND CHEDDAR BITES
These tiny bites of carrots and cheddar are the right appetizer for a vegetarian party buffet - or simply a day snack!
100g of bread (~ 2 medium slices)
1 large carrot, grated (~ 185g / ~ 6 1/2 oz)
100g grated cheddar (~ 1 cup grated)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Oil, to lubricate the plate
1.Use a kitchen appliance to scale back the bread to breadcrumbs (or just crumble it if you do not have a food processor).
2.Add the breadcrumbs to the bowl, along side grated carrots and cheese . Stir to combine .
3.Add remaining ingredients (except oil) and blend well.
4.Use clean hands to make the mixture into balls - I got 15 balls in total. Place on a well greased baking sheet and bake at 190 ° C (Gas Mark 5/375 ° F) for about half-hour , or until crispy and browned.
