 Easy Baked Lemon Donuts

This grilled lemon donut is every lemon lover's dream, so sweet and straightforward to organize . Enjoy it with an easy lemon frosting or a pinch of granulated sugar .


1 cup all-purpose flour (130 grams)

⅓ cup sugar (66 grams)

¾ teaspoon leaven

¼ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

1 pinch of salt

grated ½-1 lemon peel

3 tablespoons of cold, melted butter

1 large egg (room temperature)

½ teaspoon vanilla

¼ cup + 1 tablespoon lemon yogurt (76 grams)

3½ tablespoons milk (room temperature) i exploit 2%


½ to 1 cup icing / granulated sugar (60-120 grams)

1 teaspoon juice (or more if desired)

1 to 2 tablespoons of cream or milk (you can use more or less counting on the thickness of the frosting you want)


1.Preheat oven to 350F (180C). Grease and flour a 6 donut pan.

2.In a large bowl, beat together flour, sugar, leaven , bicarbonate of soda , salt and grated skin.

3.In a medium bowl, beat until the butter, eggs, vanilla, yogurt and milk are combined.

4.Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and blend well.

5.Spoon or use a cookie bag to put the dough within the prepared donut pan and bake for 10 minutes, testing for doneness with a toothpick. Let the donuts cool for five to 10 minutes within the pan, then place them on a wire rack until they cool completely. Sprinkle with granulated sugar , sprinkle with lemon icing or eat plain. Enjoy!


6.Sift granulated sugar into alittle bowl, add juice and milk or cream (you can use all juice or a mixture) and stir until it reaches the specified thickness. Drizzle or dip over cooled donuts.
