 Keto Fathead Bagels

Really chewy keto bagels - you would like them and that i got them! This bagel is low in carbs, nut free and only takes 5 ingredients to organize . Easy and delicious, they're going to take your healthy breakfast to a replacement level.


1/2 cup coconut flour (56g)

2 teaspoons leaven

3/4 teaspoon xanthan gum

12 ounces of partially grated skim mozzarella cheese

2 large eggs

Optional garnish for any bagel

1 teaspoon sesame seeds

1 teaspoon poppy

1 teaspoon chopped dry onions

1/2 teaspoon coarse salt

1 tablespoon melted butter


1.Preheat oven to 350F and line an outsized baking sheet with a layer of silicone. during a medium bowl, beat the coconut flour, leaven and xanthan gum. Set aside.

2.In a large microwave-safe bowl, gradually melt the cheese on High for 30 seconds until it's melted and almost runny. Stir within the flour and egg mixture and knead during a bowl employing a rubber spatula.

3.Roll out the mold onto the prepared baking sheet and continue kneading until it's consistent. Cut the dough in half and cut each half into 4 equal portions to form 8 equal portions of dough.

4.Roll each portion in newspaper about 8 inches long. Pinch the 2 ends of the log.

5.In a shallow dish, combine sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onions, and salt. Brush the highest of every bagel with melted butter and dip vigorously within the seasoning completely. Rest on the silicone mat.

6.Bake, 15 to twenty minutes, until the bagels are fluffy and golden brown.
