ONION SCALLION CHICKEN
Green Onion Chicken - fry the tender and juicy chicken with onions and green onions in an appetizing Chinese chocolate syrup . This easy recipe only takes 20 minutes and goes great with rice or noodles.
8 oz. (226 g) boneless, skinless pigeon breast , thinly sliced
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
3 spring onions, cut 2 inches (5 cm)
1/2 onion, sliced
1 ginger, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon Chinese Shaoxing rice wine or dry sherry
2 teaspoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon soy
1/4 teaspoon black soy
3 fine white pepper strands
1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons of water
1.Soak the chicken with all the ingredients within the seasonings for 10 minutes. Combine all the ingredients for the sauce during a small bowl. Set aside.
2.Heat a wok or skillet with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and saute the seasoned chicken until the surface turns white (half cooked). Organize and order.
3.Heat the remaining oil, saute the onions and ginger until fragrant. Add the chicken to the skillet or skillet and stir quickly before adding the sauce. still sauté until the chicken is completed , then add the green onions to the pan. Stir quickly, open the mold and serve hot with steamed rice.
