 Steamed Fish with Ginger 



Steamed Fish with Ginger, Leeks, and soy may be a restaurant-quality dish that you simply can easily cook reception in only half-hour . Serve this light but tasty dish with rice for a healthy and delicious meal.


INGREDIENT

For fish

▢ 12 to 14 ounces white fillet (with skin)

▢2 teaspoon vegetable oil

▢1 / 8 teaspoon salt

▢1 / 8 teaspoon black pepper

1 1/2 inches ginger, finely sliced

▢4-5 leek stalks, dig short, then sliced / grated

▢ 1 small onion, very thinly sliced 

▢ half medium carrot, dig matches

for the sauce

▢1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

▢2 small shallots, chopped (optional)

▢2-3 chopped garlic cloves

▢ 1/2 teaspoon chopped ginger

▢1 1/2 - 2 tablespoons of soy

▢1 / 8 teaspoon salt (optional, to taste)

▢1 / 8 teaspoon black pepper


INSTRUCTIONS

1.Place the fish during a shallow dish which will be used for steaming. Massage with vegetable oil , 1/8 teaspoon salt and pepper. Set aside.

2.Peel and finely chop ginger and vegetables and chop garlic, shallot, and a touch ginger.

3.Place alittle saucepan over medium heat and add the vegetable oil . After the oil is heated, add the chopped shallots and garlic, stir and cook until fragrant. Then add chopped ginger, stir well and cook for a short time until fragrant. Pour soy into a saucepan, add black pepper and 1/8 teaspoon salt (to taste), stir and simmer for a couple of seconds. Transfer the sauce to a bowl.

4.Prepare your steam. Cover the fish plate with foil and place during a steamer and cook for 8 to 9 minutes.

5.Open the lid of the steamer, Pour the sauce over the fish fillets, then arrange all the ginger, shallots, and carrots slices. Garnish with scallion slices. Put the lid back on (no got to cover the plate this time) and continue steaming for an additional 4-6 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.

6.Serve hot with rice. you'll garnish it with cilantro if you would like .
