Yaki Onigiri

 Yaki Onigiri

Yaki onigiri are a kind of grilled Japanese rice ball. The word "yaki" in Japanese means grilled and that i think tons of individuals now know what onigiri is. Otherwise, they're basically small triangular rice balls. Yaki onigiri are most frequently covered in soy , but the name itself means grilled rice balls.



▢2 cups raw short-grain rice * 1

▢2 glasses of water

Miso flavor

▢1 tablespoon of miso

▢2 teaspoon mirin

▢2 teaspoon sake

▢2 teaspoon sugar

▢1.5 tablespoons butter

▢1 teaspoon finely chopped scallion for garnish

▢1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish

Soy sauce taste

▢ 1.5 tablespoons of oil

▢1 tablespoon soy

▢1.5 c. 1 tablespoon any bagel seasoning * 2

▢1.5 tablespoons butter


Cook the rice following your rice cooker's directions. 

1.While the rice is cooking, put all the ingredients for the miso paste during a bowl and blend well.

2.Divide the rice into 6 equal portions.

3.Shape and crush the rice during a triangular wrapping .

4.Heat a forged iron skillet over medium heat and add butter.

5.Bake the onigiri for about 1 minute on all sides and coat with butter.

6.Spread the miso paste on all sides of the rice balls and grill all sides until they're crispy. 

7.Serve garnished.

8.Heat a forged iron skillet over medium heat and coat the pan with oil .

9.Bake the onigiri for about 1 minute on all sides .

10.Brush the soy on all sides of the rice ball whenever turning it (turning several times).

11.Bake all sides until crispy. close up the warmth and serve on a plate.

12.Grilled rice balls with 1/2 tablespoon butter each.

13.Garnish with rice seasonings to serve.
