Turkish Eggs (Cilbir)
Easy to organize and a delicious idea for lunch or breakfast. Turkish eggs or cilbir are the right thanks to start your day.
1 cup Greek yogurt
A few fresh fennel leaves
8-10 mint leaves
1 tablespoon vinegar
½ stick unsalted butter or 55 grams
1 teaspoon chili flakes
teaspoon smoked paprika
1.Finely chop fennel and mint, crush or grate the garlic cloves and blend the ingredients with Greek yogurt. Season with salt and pepper, set aside.
2.Fill a deep pot with water and convey to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar and make a swirl. Crack the egg and add it to the middle of the swirl. Cook for 3 minutes to urge an ideal egg with a runny yolk. Remove the eggs with a skimmer and put aside once you cook your next egg.
3.Using a saucepan, melt the butter. When the butter starts to bubble, add seasonings. Stir until well blended and therefore the sauce is prepared to serve.
4.Transfer the Greek yogurt to a serving bowl. Place the prod top and pour the condiment . Sprinkle some dill and mint on top.
