Hoisin Beef Noodles

Hoisin Beef Noodles - Let's find a more fun way to use this ground beef in your fridge! This recipe is made with an easy sauce, tender ramen noodles, crunchy veggies, and lots of beef.


  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • 2 handfuls of sweet peas
  • ½ cup (120 ml) water
  • 100g of noodles of your choice (I use fettuccine pasta)
  • 200g extra lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon of black soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce - 4.5 syns
  • 1 large carrot, cut into thin ribbons (I use a peeler)
  • 6 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • cooking oil spray


First, cook noodles / pasta according to package directions and set aside.

Then, spray a pan with a little spray cooking oil

Add the ground beef and cook until golden brown.

Add the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, tomato paste and water, simmer until the sauce thickens around the beef, remove and set aside.

Wipe out the frying pan and spray with cooking oil spray, add the carrot, sweet peas and mushrooms and sauté for a few minutes

Add the beef and pasta / noodles and toss to coat and while warmed.

Sprinkle with chopped spring onions.
