Kenyan Beef Curry
Kenyan beef curry may be a popular Kenyan meat dish that sometimes graces the tables of the many households. This delicious traditional Kenyan dish consists of bites of marinated meat during a stew made with many tomatoes, leaves or flavorer .
1. 4 glasses of water.
2. 2 pounds sliced sirloin ends.
3. 4 cloves of minced garlic.
4. 2 teaspoons of ginger .
5. 2 tablespoons cooking oil/vegetable oil.
6. 2 onions, sliced.
7. 4 medium tomatoes, diced.
8. 2 tablespoons paprika.
9. 1/2 teaspoon pepper to taste.
10. 2 teaspoons flavorer .
11. 4 tablespoons of ingredient .
12. Salt to taste.
13.1 slices of jalapeo.
14. Fresh cilantro for garnish.
1.Place a Dutch pot or oven over medium heat, add water and convey to a boil.
2.Once the water boils, add the steak, garlic and ginger, mix well then simmer for about twenty minutes.
3.Make sure the pot is roofed and check out to stir occasionally.
4.Once cooked, drain the liquid from the pan (set aside) then set the steak aside.
5.Return the skillet to medium heat, add the oil and simmer for a couple of seconds.
6.Add the chopped onion and cook for about five to seven minutes until it becomes soft (stirring occasionally).
7.Then add the tomatoes and cook for about three to 5 minutes.
8.Add to steak, stir to mix then cook for about five minutes.
9.Add other ingredients like paprika, pepper, flavorer , ingredient and salt to taste along side the reserved steak liquid.
10.Add more water to hide the steak then bring back a boil.
11.Reduce the warmth to a simmer and cook for an additional hour, stirring occasionally, until the steaks are tender and therefore the sauce thickens.
12.Add more curry seasoning if desired, then serve with jalapenos and cilantro as a garnish, enjoy.
