spicy shrimp pasta diavolo
So today we're making an easy and spicy Diavolo shrimp paste. The red sauce is that the star of the show with fresh garlic and basil, a touch of wine and a few red pepper flakes. And even with its great taste, this one is pretty easy to form . So let's start .
12 grams of Pasta
1 pound large raw prawns, peeled and shelled
1/2 yellow onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 (14.5 oz.) Canned fire-roasted tomatoes, drained
1 can (8 ounces) spaghetti sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup wine (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup fresh basil/parsley, chopped
Parmesan cheese to serve
1.Cook pasta consistent with package directions until hard . Drain and put aside .
2.Over medium-high heat, brown onion, garlic and red chili flakes during a little oil until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
3.Pour within the tomatoes and spaghetti sauce .
4.Add sugar, Italian seasoning, wine , salt and pepper to taste. Boil gently.
5.Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens.
6.Add the prawns to the sauce and simmer for an additional 3 minutes until the prawns are cooked through and opaque.
7.Toss pasta and shrimp with sauce.
8.Plate and serve hot with a garnish of fresh basil or parsley and Parmesan cheese.
